Stay Healthy and Love your Body

Hi lovelies, I am so sorry I haven't posted in a couple months.  Life has been very lifey and very frantic with my grandmother in and out of the hospital and work picking up and senior year approaching. But I am back to tell you why fad diets are not good for long term results. Programs like Weight Watchers are designed to keep you eating.  That is what's important.  Starving yourself between meals is never a good thing. Weight loss is like 97% diet.  If you stay eating right continuously throughout the day you will see results.  However, starving yourself the whole day just to save points for that one epic meal isn't good either.  You need to sustain yourself and eat.  Just use those weekly points for that banging meal you're going to splurge on.

Diets like the Whole 30 work for quick results but really aren't good for your health.  You are cutting out so many things that your body needs.  Unless you have a severe allergy, for example me with celiac, you really need everything in moderation.  I can see what the appeal is for the quick results, and I  know it works wonder for some people but everything in moderation is key.  You need every food group and by cutting certain pieces out your body reacts and loses the weight temporarily but it is way easier for a quick gain back.

But please do not get me started on these wraps and diet pills. THESE ARE NEVER GOOD FOR ANYBODY.  Wraps cut off your circulation to the point of strangling your fat. This is not going to lead to permanent weight loss. You might look skinnier for the time being but there is no permanent. loss there.  It really scares me how many women swear by these, saying they work wonders.  No they don't.  They are so unhealthy and unsafe.  Especially if you are taking diet pills with them.  Diet pills screw you up internally.  They are good for immediate results but as soon as you stop you will blow up like a blimp. IT Works DOES NOT work.  I am so sad to watch all of these women destroying their bodies.  There are other ways.  It may be a more gradual process but there are ways to lose weight that don't involve hurting your bodies.  Your body is an extremely important asset.  Do not destroy it.

I always feel like girls jump to all of these conclusions because they want results and they want them fast.  Fast is not always the best option.  Safe is the best option.  You can lose weight by eating right and being active.  Not by depriving your body of things you need, taking pills, and strangling your fat.  Choose the healthy option.
The healthy way works.  It may take time, but don't get impatient, hang in there.  It will definitely all be worth it.
